Should you make a booking, it is Plus Chauffeurs Limited that is responsible for that booking.
These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement regarding the provisions of vehicle booking by Plus Chauffeurs Limited, which is licensed by the New Forest District Council – Private Hire Operator Licence Number 151. Completion of the booking is your acceptance of the Terms & Conditions set out in this agreement.
In the Terms & Conditions, “We” and “us” refer to Plus Chauffeurs Limited, registered address Suite 9, Oculis House, Eddystone Road, Southampton SO403AS. Company Number 09285472 VAT Number 344120638 and “the customer” and “you” refers to any passenger or passengers carried in the private hire vehicle.
Booking Terms
- All booking times will be assumed to be for United Kingdom times only.
- All bookings will be confirmed by email. You are responsible for checking that the details are correct.
- If you would like to book a car with less than 96 hours’ notice – Please call our helpline: +44 (0)333 3444 018.
- Online quotations are for illustrative purposes only – all prices will be agreed and confirmed verbally and or by email.
- Payments can be made by cash or bank transfer. Bank details as follows – sort code 04-06-05 account number 20852339. Important – when doing so, please add your booking number as the reference and confirm by text or email that payment has been made.
- All payments are due in full 96 hours before journey start.
- You must allow sufficient time when booking your journey for check-in-times and for any delays that could be caused by the traffic conditions along the route. We will not be responsible for any delay caused by your failure to allow enough time to reach your destination or if you or the persons who are being carried are not ready for collection at the agreed time.
- Any changes to the original booking may incur an additional charge – this will be agreed between each party first.
- Additional stops or address changes may incur an additional charge – this will be agreed between each party first.
- When a pickup is made at an airport the customer will have previously agreed to provide the flight number. The driver will enter the airport car park or agreed pick up point, unless otherwise agreed beforehand, no earlier than 45 minutes after the aeroplanes published time of landing.
- At the time of the ‘pick up’ the driver and the customer agree to make every effort to communicate with each other to ensure a smooth service is achieved.
- In the event of a ‘pick up’ a waiting time of up to 30 minutes is included – after 30 minutes there will be an additional charge of £12.50 per 15 minutes or part thereof.
- Any car parking charges incurred at the ‘pick up’ or ‘set down’ will be met by the customer.
- Any ‘pick up’ or ‘set down’ charges will be met by the customer.
- Any toll charges incurred during the trip will be met by the customer.
- We reserve the right to provide subcontracted vehicles and or drivers when required.
- We reserve the right to change your vehicle or driver.
- Every effort will be made to ensure our driver arrives on time.
- Whilst we do our utmost to ensure our drivers are punctual, you will understand that we cannot accept responsibility for delays caused by circumstances outside of our control.
- Our driver will drive in accordance with the road rules and conditions.
- Our driver will travel by the most appropriate route on the day, unless requested otherwise by the customer.
- Our vehicles and sub-contracted vehicles are fully insured for passenger and third-party claims. However, customer’s properties are carried entirely at their own risk and we will not be held responsible/liable for any loss/damage to such property.
- We will keep a lost property book and will endeavour to return any goods/property left in our vehicle(s) or subcontracted vehicle(s). The cost of returning said items will be met by the customer.
- We reserve the right to refuse to carry any passenger who is thought to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs and whose behaviour poses a threat either to the driver or the vehicle or any other passenger(s).
- We maintain a strict non-smoking policy. For the avoidance of doubt, this includes e-cigarettes or vaporizers.
- Passengers are responsible for any damage they cause to the interior and or exterior of the vehicle on hire to them and will be liable for any repair or valeting required in order to reinstate a vehicle to its original state immediately before the period of hire.
- All passengers are required to use seatbelts at all times.
- Passengers will be responsible for their luggage at all time. They are responsible for loading and unloading their own luggage. The driver, at their discretion, may assist the passenger but is not required to do so.
- Our drivers do not carry baby or child booster seats as a matter of course. Should you provide your own you are responsible for fitting the seat and satisfying yourself that the seat is suitable for your child needs and for the safety of your child whilst within the vehicle.
- We will not accompany any minors of less than 16 years of age except in exceptional circumstances and with prior written consent from the parent or guardian. Therefore, it must be made clear at the time of booking that this is the case. We may refuse to accept the passenger who is a minor on collection and indeed may ask the passenger for proof of age. We will not accept liability for any costs or delays caused by your failure to inform us.
- At the time of the booking the customer must clearly inform us that they wish to transport domestic animals, other than Guide dogs who are exempt from this requirement, must be carried in a suitable locked box or cage. If we have not been informed of this requirement at the time of the booking, the driver reserves the right to cancel the booking with the full fare still being charged.
- By supplying your email address and telephone number you permit us to contact you via email or telephone, we will never supply your details to a third party unless it is necessary for us to fulfil the booking and transfer.
- We are committed to providing services in accordance with the Equality Act 2010. We may assist any passenger who is not capable of boarding or alighting a vehicle unaided at our sole discretion but at the passenger’s risk.
- Any complaint relating to the service must be made in writing within 14 days of the event giving rise to the complaint.
- Nothing contained in these terms and conditions can affect the customers statutory rights.
- Cookies and Privacy – by using www.pluschauffeurs.co.uk you agree to our use of cookies.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
- If a booking is cancelled by the customer more than 48 hours before journey start, then a full refund will be due.
- If a booking is cancelled by the customer within 24-48 hours from the start of the journey, 50% of all monies paid will be refunded.
- If a booking is cancelled by the customer within 0-24 hours from the start of the journey, 100% of all monies paid will not be refunded.
- If the customer does not appear at the time and place as agreed, all monies paid will be not be refunded.
- If the customer does not wait for their driver and seeks alternative transport all monies paid will not be refunded.
